Jo grew up in Wilmington, graduated from New Hanover High School, and attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Becoming a licensed Real Estate Broker in 1977, she owned and operated her own real estate company and later joined Bailey and Associates where she specialized in residential and commercial sales. Since retiring from the airline industry, where she specialized in customer relations, Jo returned to real estate and joined Team Strickland. After moving from Harbor Island, she relocated to Jacksonville, NC and now resides in Sneads Ferry. Jo is a graduate of the North Carolina Institute of Chapel Hill and currently serves Jacksonville, Sneads Ferry and Topsail Island. Jo is also married to Sherrill Strickland and they have two daughters and four grandsons.
